Nassau's design called for 36 fixed and 20 mobile cameras across 56 school districts, with a $50 fine and a $30 administrative fee. In summer 2014 the county declared an amnesty for tickets issued that summer. The County Legislature voted 19-0 on Dec. 15, 2014 to repeal the program. Published ticket and revenue totals for the program conflict ($16 million to $32 million) and are not shown here until an official figure is found.
