What you can do
- Pick your places. Your home area and any towns, counties or agencies you want to watch.
- Request the records. Build a public records letter (FOIL, FOIA, OPRA and others) for an agency, then track it: when you sent it, what the law says the agency owes you and when, and what is due or overdue.
- Gather the documents. Upload what the agency sends back and see the public documents we already hold for your places.
- Write up what you found. A short summary in which every fact cites a document.
How a finding gets published
Our staff check every finding against its sources before anything goes out. They may ask you for changes. When a finding passes, it becomes a post on the TicketTrap blog with your name on it and links to the documents behind it.
Documents you upload go to our editors first. They remove personal information, such as plate numbers and home addresses, before any file is made public.
By submitting a finding you agree that TicketTrap.ai may edit it for accuracy and clarity and publish it with your name. See our privacy policy and terms.
